Our commitment

Jet Air Travel Inc wants every traveller to be able to use this website, however they browse it. That
includes people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, voice
control, or browsers configured to reduce motion or increase text size.

The standard we build to

We build to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. There
is no single federal regulation setting a numeric standard for private business websites in the
United States, but WCAG 2.1 AA is the benchmark courts and settlements use, and it is the right
engineering target regardless.

What we have done

Text and background colours across the site are tested against the 4.5:1 contrast ratio
(3:1 for large text), including text placed over photography.
The rotating departures board and the hero slideshow both start automatically, so each has
a visible pause control, as well as honouring your browser’s reduce-motion setting.
The whole site can be operated from the keyboard, including the service tabs, which
respond to arrow keys, Home and End.
Every image that carries meaning has alternative text; decorative images are hidden from
assistive technology.
Form fields have visible, permanently associated labels — not placeholder text alone.
The page structure uses real headings, landmarks and lists, so it can be navigated
structurally rather than read top to bottom.
A skip link lets keyboard users jump past the navigation.

Where we know we fall short

We would rather tell you than let you discover it:

Some third-party content we link to — supplier booking pages, consular websites, mapping
services — is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
Our screen-reader testing is ongoing. The passenger picker and the combined date-and-time
fields on the inquiry desk are the areas we are still refining.
Documents we send by email, such as itineraries produced by suppliers, are not always
fully tagged for accessibility. Ask and we will supply the content in a format that
works for you.

If something does not work

Tell us and we will fix it — and in the meantime we will help you complete whatever you were
trying to do, by phone, email or WhatsApp.
